In 82% of Hazing Deaths Alcohol is Involved

04/19/2012 - 12:51
Recent studies indicate that a huge amount of alcohol is involved in 82% of hazing deaths. Our work on behalf of victims confirms this. The combination of time, a lack of responsible supervision, and substantial amounts of alcohol often proves deadly in fraternities. Fraternity life will not be rendered reasonably safe until universities and fraternities: disclose the truth about such risks and the sanctions imposed against fraternities for violating university and risk management standards; require fraternities to operate in alcohol-free housing, since it is well-establish
